Discover what your visitors think of your office reception and meeting room or what your walls do to motivate and inspire your staff. And find out what you can do to make it better.

Many of us spend more of our waking day at work than we do in our own homes, so it’s surprising that often our office environments have little or no decor to inspire or relax us. If you look around your office and are met with vast swathes of magnolia paint and your only wall decoration is your Health and Safety Policy, then perhaps you’re in need of some assistance.

Your brand isn’t just the logo your customers see, it’s the way your staff behave and communicate, it’s the vibe and essence of your business. If you expect your staff to champion a fun and ambitious work ethic, it’s unlikely to be successful if their four walls are a selection of post-it notes and white boards.

And it’s not just about the people that inhabit your work space everyday, it also about your visitors. Consider what their first impression might be of your business from the reception area that greets them. Are they are met with a pull-up banner stand left over from an old exhibition, do you take advantage of your waiting area to promote your business to prospective clients.

You only have to look as far as the Google headquarters in California to see some innovative office spaces that challenge conformity and encourage a better working environment. From colourful floor graphics, bright window manifestations and clever wall vinyls to digital wayfinding, they’ve created a functional and productive workspace that makes going to work seem like fun. To support this, the Gensler Workplace Survey 2013 explains how the design of the workplace impacts upon performance, employee engagement and innovation, and ultimately the important relationship between office design and better business performance.

We’ve worked on large office spaces for nationally recognised brands such as E.ON and Kia, Vaillant, Rolls-Royce, Deb and Coors to name a few. We’ve also printed and installed office graphics for local SMEs including Marketing Derby. We can advise you about colours, finishes and materials to bring your walls, floors, ceiling and windows to life within your budget.

Why not order one of our brochures for some ideas and inspiration or get in touch to discuss your project.
