As trusted partners of Cass Productions, we were delighted when they asked us to help them deliver another exciting wall graphics and signage project for Premier League Champions Liverpool F.C. We worked with Cass on the Melwood Training Campus in 2017, and now the Club had built a state-of-the-art, £50m facility to replace it which needed bringing to life. The large-scale iconic project based on the new Kirkby site boasted three full-size pitches, goalkeeping and warm-up areas, along with two gyms, a sports hall, pool, hydrotherapy complex and specialist sports rehabilitation suites amongst a host of other incredible facilities.

Cass Productions love to combine depth and texture with stunning wall graphics and signage, and we love their big ideas. We got to flex our print and production muscles and push the boundaries of what can be achieved using our extensive range of in-house equipment, including our most recent investment; an AXYZ industrial hybrid CNC cutter.

Our in-house studio are used to working closely with the design team at Cass. Together we are able to take their wonderful designs and carefully prepare them for printing, cutting and the installation process which finally transformed the space of the new facility with a range of the highest quality graphics, signage and art pieces.

Our MX team had to work quickly and be responsive to the Premier League Autumn transfer window. The team at Cass had to prepare artwork specifically for the new signings or potentially remove designs including transferred players. We were on standby to react, print new panels and uphold our completion dates, ensuring the whole project was delivered on time. Each part of the installation was meticulously planned by our Account Managers. The professional quality astro-turf pitches had already been laid before our install schedule began, so our team had to protect the delicate surface with special boards to allow us to access the upper walls with our scissor lift to work at height.

The complete project included over 86 sq/m of Wallpaper, over 190 sq/m of One Wall seamless wallpaper, 42 sq/m of dye-sublimated FabriGrab tension fabric system, 8 sheets of acrylic lettering and logos, 34 HD dye-sub Chromaluxe art pieces, 65 professionally framed prints, 36 bespoke cherrywood letters, 2 sheets of stainless-steel lettering, several custom printed magnetic glass dry wipe boards and 29 metres of printed and cut vinyl lettering. We installed the project over 15 days using four of our professional installation team.

It was wonderful to work on such a prestigious project during a period of uncertainly surrounding Covid 19. We’d like to thank Liverpool F.C. and Cass Productions for the opportunity to work on this iconic project. The stunning design and imagery and ultimately the quality end result made all the hard work worthwhile.
