Optically Clear Window FilmWe worked with an interior fit out company to deliver these beautiful office glazing graphics that meet all DDA requirements.
There are a range of products used for this project. We cut large letters from dusted window film to name each meeting room. The dusted film was unprinted and has delivered fantastic results to transform the space. We printed a beautiful gradient of white, from a solid colour to disappear completely at the top of the glazing to offer privacy with a softer edge that traditional frosted. And, finally we used a substrate called Optically Clear which is a completely invisible film once applied to glass. We printed different opacities of white a black to create a both a skyline design and a generic square design.

WHAT DOES DDA COMPLIANT MEAN?
Our professional studio can help create a design concept and consistent style for your office window graphics. All we need is a little time to chat with you and see your space. A rough idea of budget will also help us to design within your means and choose the right products for the job. We’ll come up with some fantastic ideas and you can select the ones you like the best. From here, you can sit back, relax and we’ll do the rest.
The difference is both subtle and simple. Both allow light to travel through the glazing, so there’s no concern about reducing the light in a room or corridor.
Frosted window film has a sparkle to it like a frosty, icy sheet. The sparkle can be seen from both sides. We prefer to use Frosted Window Film when the design is unprinted, because the ink cannot be seen fully from the reverse and the colours are never as punchy on both sides.
Dusted is more like an etched effect on the glass. It has a smooth matte finish and prints really well. It diffuses the light and adds excellent privacy. It looks great both plain and printed.
We have products that can completely block out the light with a printed graphic. But we have lots of other products that might be suitable too. Such as framed graphics that will completely block the light and hide the window frame too. Give us a call and we can talk through your options.

Glass doors and glazed partitions must be clearly defined to meet DDA requirements with a manifestation on the glass at two levels, between 850mm to 1000mm and 1400 to 1600mm above the floor. The window graphic must visually contrast with the background seen through the glass on both sides, and in all lighting conditions.
