The recent BBC investigation into CSCS exam fraud has put the popular accreditation scheme under scrutiny this month. Centres have been caught rigging the exams, openly giving out answers to the candidates for a ‘guaranteed pass’, in exchange for a higher fee than the standard exam cost.
 
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) was established to help the construction industry improve quality and reduce accidents. This certification demonstrates a card-holder’s occupational competence, and that he/she understands the scheme-specific Health and Safety and Environment Test. The aim of the Health and Safety test is to examine knowledge across a wide range of health and safety topics in order to improve safety levels on-site.
 
All our professional installation team members hold a valid CSCS card along with a range of other industry recognised accreditations which you can view here. The concerns raised in the BBC programme were focussed on a small minority of the 544 test centres across the UK, and we can assure you that all our operatives have passed their CSCS training in a controlled centre and under strict exam conditions. None of them attended any of the other centres currently under investigation.
